Hyeopjaegul Lava Tube (Hallim Park)
Hyeopjaegul Lava Tube (Hallim Park) is a unique hybrid cave formed when limestone-rich water seeped into a lava tube created by the volcanic eruptions of Hallasan. Measuring approximately 100 meters in length, 10 meters in width, and 5 meters in height, this extraordinary site features growing stalagmites and stalactites—a rare phenomenon for a lava tube—making it of immense scientific value. Designated as Natural Monument No. 236, Hyeopjaegul Lava Tube (Hallim Park) is carefully preserved and can be explored as part of the beautiful Hallim Park.
