Yuk Si-woo-young
Located just 100 meters west of the Hagari Village Hall, Yuk Si-woo-young is a solemn historical site marking a tragic chapter of the Jeju April 3 Incident. In the early dawn of November 13, 1948, this field became the site of a mass killing where 25 to 27 local residents were publicly executed by soldiers from the 9th Regiment. Today, Yuk Si-woo-young stands as a significant memorial site, preserving the memory of the victims and serving as a profound testament to the history of the Jeju 4·3 Incident.
