Separate port

Located in Hwabuk 1-dong, Jeju-si, Separate port (also known as Hwabuk Port) is a historic harbor that once flourished as a major gateway for maritime travel in Jeju during the Joseon Dynasty. Today, visitors can still trace the footsteps of the past through various historical sites that commemorate the achievements of local officials from that era. Additionally, the nearby breakwater is a popular spot for recreational fishing, especially for catching species like largescale blackfish (o-myeong).
