Gangbyeongdae Church
Built in 1952 during the Korean War to strengthen the spiritual resolve of soldiers from the 1st Army Training Center, Gangbyeongdae Church is a significant Registered Cultural Heritage site. The structure features a unique architectural design, combining walls made of local Jeju basalt with a wooden truss supporting a tin roof. It holds immense historical value as it was constructed directly by the engineering corps without the assistance of civilian technicians.
