Seongeup Folk Village

Located in Seongup-ri, Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Seongeup Folk Village preserves the authentic atmosphere of an ancient Jeju village and holds significant historical importance as the former site of the Jeongui-hyeon office during the Joseon Dynasty. Unlike typical folk villages, Seongeup Folk Village is a living community where residents still reside, offering a vivid glimpse into traditional daily life. Nestled at the foot of Hallasan, the village collectively preserves a wealth of cultural heritage and the unique architectural characteristics of traditional Jeju homes.
