Ongpocheon
Originating from the southern slope of Nuun Oreum, Ongpocheon splits into two branches at Garincheon before merging once more along the Yangmuncheon section in Jungdong Village, eventually flowing into the Ongpo coast. As the largest source of spring water in the western region of Jeju, its abundant supply of groundwater and surface water serves as a vital water source for the western part of Jeju City via the Hallim Water Purification Plant.
Daerim-ri Seondol
Located along Route 12 in western Jeju, you will find this prehistoric site just as the road splits toward Hallim-eul and Daerim-ri, if you take the left turn. At the entrance to the village, three ancient Hackberry trees (Pangnang) stand guard, marking the path to Daerim-ri Seondol. The surrounding landscape is open and breezy, offering breathtaking, expansive views that can be enjoyed at a single glance.
